Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a management aptitude test which is conducted every year by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission in the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its 16 constituent institutes. Every year around more than 1 lakh of students from various disciplines including Engineering, Commerce, Humanities and even Law take SNAP Test to get into of the 2,500 MBA seats in Symbiosis colleges.

Earlier the paper was conducted in paper based pattern but now SNAP has changed the paper pattern to online mode. SNAP Paper comprises of 3 sections in the paper i.e.  General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

The SNAP exam consists of three sections i.e. – General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Two types of questions will be asked i.e. MCQs and Special Questions. Special questions will carry two marks in the Quantitative, data interpretation & data sufficiency, whereas MCQs in the same section will carry one mark. The composite time of SNAP test is 60 minutes i.e. 1 hour.

The candidate should be a graduate from any recognised / statutory University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent grade (45 % marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes).

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent grade (45 % marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes).

Note: Admission of such candidate will be provisional and will be cancelled in the event of non-fulfillment of the above stated criteria.

Programmes which require specific discipline/subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

Important: It is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether s/he possesses the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
