Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an entrance exam for management courses. It is conducted by National testing agency (NTA) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. It is held once a year in the month of January. It is a 3-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

  • It is a computer based online test which is conducted for 3 hours in a single session to evaluate the candidate in 4 sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
  • Paper will consist of multiple choice questions.
  • For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given.
  • For every incorrect answer, there will be negative marking i.e. 1 mark will be deduced.
  • There will be no sectional time limit.

  • Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
  • Final year students whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year.
  • There is no age restriction.
  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 yrs duration. Obtained at least 50 % (45 % in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
