The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Social Security Assistants (SSA) and Stenographers, in the year 2023.

The recruitment is aimed at filling the vacancies left by the Retirement of existing staff and to meet the growing need for manpower in the organisation.

The EPFO is the world's largest organisation providing social security to over 50 million citizens and is responsible for managing the Employees' Provident Fund and other pension-related schemes in India. With the EPFO's mission to ensure social security for all its members, the organisation is always on the lookout for dedicated and efficient personnel to assist in its operations.

The recruitment for the post of SSA and Stenographers is open to all citizens of India who meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the post of SSA is a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university and a minimum of two years of work experience in the related field.

For the post of Stenographers, the eligibility criteria are a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand.
